“But let the godly rejoice. Let them be glad in God’s presence. Let them be filled with joy,” Psalm 68:3 (NLT).
Why do I say that God is “present and accounted for” in our ministry? It means that everywhere I look, I see signs of God’s presence and direct involvement in all we do!
God’s presence means everything. Moses pleaded for it. Jesus promised it whenever two or more of us gather in His name. His High-Priestly Prayer proclaimed that it would abide with us forever. And today, we see countless examples of that presence in our outreach to international students. I would like to share some of the many examples of God’s presence we are experiencing here at International Students, Inc.:
- Tejas Retreat
- Northeast Regional Retreat
- Church Mobilization Initiative
I trust this small sampling shows how powerfully Christ is present and accounted for in our ministry right now, along with a glimpse of the ways which God makes His presence known as we reach out and minister to the international students in our midst. I am reminded of the Psalmist who said, “But let the godly rejoice. Let them be glad in God’s presence. Let them be filled with joy,” Psalm 68:3 (NLT).
Let us rejoice in Him and His peaceful, joyful presence in our ministry and in our lives. Also, thank you, friend, for all you do to help us to fulfil the Great Commission. We are blessed with the provision to carry it out. Truly, if God has commanded us, He will take care of our needs.
